Paleface

This is see-through red, the best offering in red lip covering in 70 years! It’s not pinkish. It’s not orangish. It’s not Rose, burgundy, maroon, or any of those colors that lipsticks labeled “ red” often turn out to be. It’s smooth, sheer, and can be darkened a bit by adding layers, but it will not get to that clay-looking lip of a full coverage lipstick. I love this stuff. I’m 80, and I hope to use Medieval for a long time.

Of all the LQ lipsticks I have tried this is by far my favourite.

A. It's fool-proof - doesn't require the focus needed for applying a strong pigmented red, and its smooth and creamy like a lipbalm so doesn't need topping up often at all.

B. For someone who likes my makeup to be quite subtle and natural-looking, this adds just the right amount of sheer red, without being too overly dramatic.
