These are definitely very interesting shades. Sinner Rouge has a huge color pay-off. It is definitely opaque. My family have commented that it definitely is a much more mature look. On the other hand, Medieval is much more sheer than I anticipated, so it has the look and feel of a tinted lip balm. It definitely hydrates my lips; it feels like light butter. However, both colors are beautiful. Overall, I recommend this pack for anybody, but especially beginner lipstick users like me who want to test out both opaque and sheer colors. By the way, love the beautiful lipstick tubes.

Red Lips 2 ways!
These are gorgeous and luxurious reds that flatter my complexion (light, blonde, blue eyes) but I think they would look great on anyone. Midieval is a very sheer, naturally bitten red that wears well. Rouge Sinner is the real winner for me, a lush true red that feels very moisturizing.

Shades for Everyone
I love these two lipsticks! I worried that Rouge Sinner would be too bright on me (medium toned black woman) but it's not! It is the first red lipstick that I feel shows up true red on me without making me look like a baboon's butt. Medieval is exactly what they advertise-- a sheer, reddish/wine shade that fits all skin colors. If you are able to find this set on the website, buy it! You def won't regret it.

Universally Beautiful Shades
I have a hard time finding colors that work with my complexion. I also have a hard time finding colors that don't turn purple on me. It was my first purchase of Lipstick Queen, and I could not be happier. Both shades work well with my complexion and they do not turn colors!!!! They feel like lip balm but they show like lipstick....Absolutely wonderful!!!
